Had a great ride this year with TEAM RESCUE from Patrick AFB, what an awesome group of men and women.
YOGA FOR CYCLISTS
This is definitely an experience that any cyclist would benefit from. We had the first class two weeks ago and it was awesome; it is now a regular scheduled class (every 2 weeks for now).
Check out the site at THEE HOUSE OF YOGA, massages are AWESOME here as well.

Fun Weekend (Riding)
I departed from the training plan this weekend to go on two “Fun” Rides rather than what was on the schedule. Saturday was a Windy Solo 52 Mile effort and Sunday was another 50+ day with the Rotton Riders, Village Cycle Shoppe and Bob’s Bike Shop. It was fun sharing our WINDY coastal rides with the group from Orlando.
After 14 months on the bike I finally realized that I need to make sure that I have fun event when training for any challenge. I was still able to accomplish a 10+ hour week in the saddle and enjoy doing it!
Horrible Hundred 2014
My first Horrible Hundred is officially in the books. Rolling hills are definitely a new type of challenge for me, especially living on the coast where our hills are 20 mph headwinds or causeways.
Had a good time riding and hanging out with Paul Ricci from Cycling Across America; Taylor and Kelly from Primal Wear. If you have a shop, event or club these are definitely 2 organizations you want to be affiliated with.
Cycle4Alz (Cycle 4 Alzheimer’s) 2014 – Inaugural Event
On November 2nd, 2014, over 100 riders ascended on the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation in Melbourne on a chilly, windy November morning for the highly successful inaugural Cycle4Alz event. This was my first experience planning and directing an event. We had great sponsors and volunteers helping along the way; a special shout out goes to Bob’s Bicycle Shop for their on course support (and the beer trailer…I mean bike trailer).
Check out Facebook for lots of pictures of the event. Click Here
Century Season is Upon Us!
Training for the Vuelta PR 2015 is going well and I personally will be using the century charity rides as a tune up for PR. There are several great ones to chose from and my company is putting on one as well.

ICWC 2014 – Inter-coastal Waterway Century – October 26, 2014
Cycle4Alz – November 2, 2014
Horrible Hundred – November 15-16, 2014
